ABOUT SEAN LUX

Experience and Commitment

  • Veteran of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves

  • Accomplished Trial Attorney

  • Served as a Prosecutor in both Lee and Charlotte Counties

    • Prosecuted a wide range of crimes from misdemeanor thefts and DUIs to eventually specializing in complex Economic Crimes and Sexual Crimes

  • Currently a partner in the law firm Ruhl & Lux, P.A., a firm dedicated to criminal defense, family law, and personal injury  ​

    • I defend those charged with offenses ​ranging from traffic tickets and drug offenses to vehicular homicide and sexual battery

  • Current Board member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, serving on the legislative committee

    • Serve as the Charlotte County representative to the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers​

  • Founder, past president, and current Director of the non-profit Collier-Lee Honor Flight,  a 100% all-volunteer organization serving our local Veterans

  • Resident of Southwest Florida and the 20th Judicial Circuit for over 20 years

  • Full-time Charlotte County resident for over 6 years

  • Juris Doctor, Ave Maria School of Law, cum laude
